IX National Championship “Young Professionals” WorldSkills Russia-2021 in Ufa

On August 25, 2021, the IX National Championship “Young Professionals” WorldSkills Russia-2021 was held in the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ufa. These were the largest professional skills competitions in Russia according to WorldSkills standards among students and schoolchildren, in which 1,786 people from 76 regions of the country took part. In total, the competitions were held in 105 different competencies, divided into 7 blocks of professions: construction and construction technologies, information and communication technologies, creativity and design, production and engineering technologies, services, transport and logistics, education. Juniors demonstrated their skills in 51 competencies: there were more than 603 of them. They worked on Designer X PRO 3D printers in the competencies: Prototyping, Additive Manufacturing, CAD Engineering Design, Space Systems Engineering.

According to the results of the the IX National Championship final, the Republic of Bashkortostan has 62 medals (including the results of the year): 8 gold, 12 silver, 19 bronze, 23 medallions for professionalism. In the overall medal standings among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the Republic of Bashkortostan took the 2nd place among 76 regions (compared to the previous year, it rose by 6 positions).

T.A. Nigmatullina, Director of BIST, Head of the UNEVOC Centre in the Russian Federation based in BIST, took part in the panel session “Professions of the Forgotten Past as an Economic Legacy” as part of the event.

BIST students took part in the quiz of the Environmental and Cultural Heritage Championship of the Republic of Bashkortostan and won the 1st place.
