The World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics (WFCP) is launching a new Cybersecurity Specialist Group for WFCP member institutions and affiliates. All over the world, the role of protecting business and personal safety online is becoming more and more tangible for countries and governments, as well as for educational institutions and ordinary people. The new group will bring together like-minded educators to share experiences, develop collaborative initiatives, and ensure that the global educational landscape continues to keep pace with this rapidly evolving field.

As part of the launch of the WFCP, both Burton College and South Derbyshire in the UK and Box Hill Institute in Australia will be hosting the Cybersecurity Is Everyone’s Business workshop, a webinar to engage interested institutions and individuals in the focus group. The federation has brought together well-known experts and thought leaders in the field of cybersecurity who will tell the webinar audience about their professional path, the latest trends in this field and how educational institutions can develop in this area.
