Ecology in Action

BIST hosted Eco-Days in July, with student volunteers participating in a roundtable discussion on ecological challenges in Russia and worldwide. They explored methods of waste collection and recycling, and the principles of environmentally friendly living. Eco-activists emphasized the importance of preserving the environment and its role for humanity.

The discussion resulted in proposals for several initiatives aimed at enhancing ecological literacy and responsibility among all members of the BIST community. These initiatives included organizing clean-up days and planting trees on campus throughout the upcoming academic year, and participating in an annual eco-event in the capital city of Bashkortostan.

All proposals were unanimously approved.
