Roundtable Discussion Dedicated to “Science Day” “SCIENCE TODAY: SIGNIFICANCE, POLICY, CHALLENGES, ACHIEVEMENTS, PROBLEMS, AND PROSPECTS” (As part of the UNEVOC Centre in the Russian Federation, located at BIST)

We invite you to participate in a roundtable discussion dedicated to current issues in the development of science in the modern world. In an era of rapid change and global challenges, understanding the role of science, its directions, and the mechanisms for its support and development becomes critically important for specialists in a wide range of fields.

Our roundtable aims to provide a platform for open dialogue and exchange of views among representatives of various humanities disciplines – sociologists, economists, lawyers, and managers. We want not only to comprehend the current state of science but also to jointly outline paths for its further development, taking into account the specifics of our disciplines.

Purpose of the Roundtable:

Venue: The meeting will be held at 10.00 on February 12, 2026 at the Bashkir Institute of Social Technologies in the UNEVOC Center in the Russian Federation on the basis of BIST – conference hall – Ufa, Prospekt Oktyabrya, 74/2 (the time has been agreed with the members of the Expert Council from other cities of the Russian Federation and the CIS).
