The Global HR Forum, jointly organized by The Korea Economic Daily, the Ministry of Education and the Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training in 2006, is celebrating its 16th anniversary. The theme of the Global HR Forum in 2021 will be “Digital Development, ESG and Sustainability”.
The COVID-19 outbreak serves as a reminder that all people are equal even in the face of a deadly virus and that nature, people, countries, society and business are interconnected and influence each other.
It also served as a warning that climate change and pollution could trigger another pandemic, and that such global catastrophes can only be cured through solidarity and cooperation between countries, businesses and individuals.
Meanwhile, digital transformation is accelerating across all industries, with environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) becoming a hot topic. It is time to put these lessons into practice and change the paradigm of developing people’s talents for sustainable growth and human well-being.
This year’s Global HR Forum will seek answers to the question of how humanity can realize the idea of a sustainable society. Participants will discuss the raging virus, climate change and other environmental issues; accelerating digital transformation; distribution of ESG management.
