On 31 July 2013, the International Round Table Russia and Kazakhstan: political and legal, economic and sociocultural arguments of cooperation took place at the UNESCO-UNEVOC Center in the Russian Federation.
The Round Table is the first round of meetings in the framework of implementation of our project, which is called Strategy of International Cooperation through the Youth Initiative. The aim of the project is to involve the youth in carrying out the next meeting of the SCO Member States in 2014 and the meeting of Heads of state and government of BRICS countries in 2015 in Ufa.
The guests were welcomed with traditional Bashkir sweets.
The official delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of authorities of the Republic of Bashkortostan, of scientific and public communities, members of the regional public organization Center of Kazakh National Culture took part in the work of the Round Table.
During the work of the Round Table, the questions of cooperation of the UNESCO-UNEVOC Centers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the UNESCO-UNEVOC Center in the Russian Federation on the base of Bashkir Institute of Social Technologies in the sphere of education and science were discussed.
The dialogue was lively and topical. Many offers on joint projects were made; the prospects of further long-term cooperation were defined. The establishment of Eurasian youth parliament headquarters in Ufa was suggested for the purpose of formation of a public and scientific discussion platform for holding forums, discussions and meetings.
The activity of the UNESCO-UNEVOC Center is multipronged and many-sided. The result should be the following: further development of vocational training and training of highly qualified, competitive specialists and formation of the person capable to productive activity for the welfare of the society, tolerant, socially responsible, and positively active.
