On December 19th, 2025 the Bashkir Institute of Social Technologies (branch) of the Academy of Labor and Social Relations (Academy of Labor and Social Relations) traditionally became the international venue for the XXI International Scientific and Practical Conference “Youth in the Modern World: New Realities and Prospects.” The conference was held to discuss and conduct interdisciplinary research on current youth issues in various fields and disciplines to implement youth policy as a platform for expert exchange of knowledge, ideas, experiences, and development prospects.
Within the thematic conference platforms, the organizers such as the Bashkir Institute of Social Technologies (branch) of the Academy of Labor and Social Relations, the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the UNEVOC Centre in Russian Federation at BIST brought together over 50 leading Russian universities, foreign countries. The BIST Bulletin magazine, a member of the UNESCO-UNEVOC network, served as the information partner.
Young 67 researchers, scientists, the UNEVOC Centre Expert Council members spoke at different tracks of the conference.
Tanzilya Altafovna Nigmatullina, Doctor of Political Science, Director of BIST and Head of the UNEVOC Centre welcomed everybody with the opening speech.
Representatives of executive authorities, trade unions, employers, businesses, employment services and recruitment agencies, youth policy researchers and practitioners, faculty, graduate students, undergraduates, and a regional association of schools—participants of the international UNESCO Associated Schools project presented the work of five sections.

Section 2. “Green Economy and Sustainable Development”.
Moderator: N.G. Kuramshina, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of the Republic of Belarus.
Section 3. “Spiritual and Moral Values and Historical Memory”.
Moderator: L.R. Munirova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor.
Section 4. “The World of Work and the Digital Transformation of Society”.
Moderators: L.R. Zagitova, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor.
A.I. Bystrov, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor.
Section 5. “Deviations in the Youth Environment and Their Prevention”.
Moderator: R.A. Iksanov, Senior Lecturer.
Following the discussion at the main conference venues, a resolution was discussed and adopted outlining future activities in the field of youth policy.
