On March 28, 2014 the scientific and practical conference “Citizens Initiatives in Housing Sector” took place.

The regional office of United Russia party acted as the organizer of a forum. During plenary part of the conference participants discussed the role of youth in work of a housing and municipal complex, the legal bases of reforming of housing and com­munal services of Russia and the Republic of Bashkortostan, need of public control over work of housing and communal services and manage­ment companies. Particular attention was also paid to the problem of staffing for the effective management of the housing stock.

Presentations were made by A. Zinatullin, the Deputy Minister of Housing and Communal Services of Bashkortostan, R. Ishmukhametov, A. Dubovskii, the deputy of the State Assembly of the Republic, head of the Regional Centre of public control in the sphere of housing and communal services and other.

The awards ceremony of winners of the competition “The Best Worker in Housing Sector and Constructions” which took place in Ufa on March 22–23 was in end of plenary part of conference. A.F. Gabzalilov, head of the Agency of HCS-technology of the UNESCO-UNEVOC center in the Russian Federation on the basis of the Bashkir Institute of Social Technologies took 1st place in the nomination “Effective management of the apartment building”/ He presented the project “New approaches to the control mechanisms of the apartment building.”
