On May 29, 2014 at the Bashkir institute of social technologies scientific and practical confe­rence “Youth anti-drug volunteer movement: experience, problems and solutions” took place. It was carried out within the youth anti-drug volunteer forum. 
There were more than 200 participants of the conference — the representatives of the scientific community, public autho­rities, teachers, youth vo­lun­teer movements, non-go­vernmental orga­niza­tions from Moscow, Yekate­rin­burg, Krasnoyarsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Izhevsk, Kazan, Kurgan, Omsk, Kirov, Crimea, Ufa and other cities of Russia and CIS and foreign countries — the United States, Israel, Ukraine.

The organizers of the conference were: Administration of the city district of Ufa of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Committee on youth policy of Administration of the city district of Ufa of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Office of the anti-drugs commission of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Management of Federal Drug Control Service of the Rus­sian Federation across the Republic of Bashkor­tostan, the Coordination center of the volunteer anti-drugs movement of the Republic of Bash­kor­tostan, the UNESKO-UNEVOK Center in the Russian Federation on the basis of the Bashkir institute of social technologies.

The following issues were discussed during the conference:

1. Public policy of the Russian Federation in the field of counteraction to drug trafficking. Preventive anti-drugs activity of Russian Federal Drug Control Service.
2. Modern technologies of prevention of drug addiction and drug-related crime among young people and the mechanisms of successful social adaptation through the formation of motivation of a healthy lifestyle.
3. Volunteering as a strategic resource of the state youth policy.

Prior to plenary meeting the exhibition was presented to attention of participants: video records, printing editions, the presentations of conferees devoted to volunteer anti-drugs activity. Before the work beginning of discussion platforms there took place the fiery student’s flashmob “Health to young people!”.

Within plenary meeting various aspects of prevention of drug addiction were affected: potential of a contract method of prevention in training of volunteers, prevention of dependent forms of behavior, the program of prevention of drug addiction among youth and teenagers, etc. Particular interest caused the performances of: S.A. Polozov, the head of the All-Russian social movement STOP DRUG; V.V. Gerasimova, the head of department of interdepartmental interaction in the sphere of prevention of Management of FDCS of Russia across the Republic of Tatarstan, the police captain, the candidate of psychological sciences; V.L. Yuldashev, head of the department of psychiatry and narcology of the Bashkir state medical university, professor, doctor of medical sciences; K.A. Fedorov, the head of department of interdepartmental interaction in the sphere of prevention of Management of FDCS of Russia across the Novosibirsk region, the police colonel; Colin Johnson, graduate student of faculty of political science Brown University (state Rod Ayland, USA); G.D. Imayeva, chief physician of the hospital No. 49 of Ufa, candi­­date of medical sciences.
Communication with colleagues from Kurgan, Ulyanovsk and the neighboring countries — Makiivka (Ukraine) took place on-line.

Adoption of the resolution of the conference directed to prevention of drug addiction and promotion of a healthy lifestyle, further improvement of activity of volunteers became the result of work.
