Roundtable meeting on “The experience of interaction between the college and employers in the training of workers and mid-level specialists” was held on July 7, 2023 in Uchaly, the Republic of Bashkortostan. Its participants were representatives of colleges and technical schools of the regions of Russia, including the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The purpose of the Roundtable was to search for forms of constructive cooperation with potential employers in the organization of industrial practice and employment of graduates.

The Tasks of the Roundtable were:

– to identify the needs of employers at the level of professional training of young qualified personnel;

– to identify the reasons for the low interest and difficulties of young professionals in finding employment at the enterprises of the city;

– to outline the ways to increase the professional interest and motivation of a young specialist from the moment of practical training at enterprises;

– to create an optimal educational environment between an educational institution and enterprises for the preparation of a qualified competitive specialist within the framework of the received specialty.

The main issues discussed by the participants were:

1. What are the characteristic features of the portrait of a young specialist engaged in a job search?

2. What professional and personal qualities should a graduate have?

3. How to help a graduate acquire the first, necessary professional experience and to gain a foothold in the workplace?

4. Are employers interested in providing young professionals with training opportunities?

5. How do programs of adaptation and professional development of young specialist’s work.
