First International Competition in Strategic Management using a computer business game “BUSINESS-COURSE: MAXIMUM”, initiated by the Department of Economics and Information Technology of BIST, has been taking place at our university for seven years, but this year it received a new status – it became International. Among the participants were the students of the Finance and Accounting Department of the Tashkent State University of Economics (Republic of Uzbekistan).

A total of 39 teams participated in the competition. Ufa was represented by high school students – 8 teams (lyceum No. 94, schools No. 100, 110, and 147); college students – 11 teams (UKSIVT and BIST); university students – 10 teams (the Institute of History and Public Administration of the Ufa University of Science and Technology, Ufa State Petroleum Technical University, Bashkir Cooperative Institute, and BIST); and, Tashkent State Economic University – 5 teams.

The final round of the competition took place on October 7. The competition among the teams was high. The preliminary training helped the participants to demonstrate their skills in managing an economic entity, and analytical processing of economic information in order to make competent business decisions.

At the end of the competition, the winners were awarded Diplomas of varying degrees, all participants received certificates, and the leaders of teams and representatives of the educational organizations received Letters of Appreciation.
