Long-desired win!

T.A. Nigmatullina Head of the Center of the UNESCO-UNEVOC in the Russian Federation on the basis of the Bashkir Institute of Social Technologies was invited to the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation for the ceremony of awarding the winners of the third contest of projects on the proposal “Budget for the citizens” on December 24, 2015. 

The organizer of the competition was the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation together with the Ministry of Finance, the Open Government and Analytical Centre under the Government of the Russian Federation to increase the budget literacy of Russians.

Preparing for the competition team of authors as part of T.A. Nigmatullina, O.E. Malikh, I.K. Polyanskaya, R.Y. Welz, O.P. Horoshavtseva began in June. At that time the idea appeared to create the website “бюджетдляграждан.РФ”. I would like to mention that a part of the project team included students of 1st course “Applied Informatics”.

«Creation of this site — just one of the stages of one other large and sought time of the UNESCO-UNEVOC Center — “Minister of Finance”.

The competition was held in two phases in seven nominations: “Best Layout “Budget for the citizens”, “ Business card of the Russian budget system”, “ Interactive “Budget for the citizens”, “Budget clarity rating of Development”, “The best statement on the budget”, “Budget of my the municipality in comparison with the budgets of other municipalities”, “Budget and citizens’ initiatives”. In total 119 applications were submitted. And the more pleasant that both projects of our institute were awarded with diplomas of II degree in nomination “The interactive budget for the citizens” and in the “Budget and citizens’ initiatives”.
