The presentation of the Republic of Bashkortostan in the headquarters of UNESCO in Paris

On October 1–2, 2013 the Presentation “Bashkortostan the pearl of Russia” devoted to the 15 anniversary of cooperation of the Republic of Bashkortostan with UNESCO took place in headquarters of UNESCO in Paris according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Russian Commission on affairs of UNESCO and the order of the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The structure of official delegation included Nigmatullina Tanzilya Altafovna, Velts Rakhil Yakovlevna and Belyaev Maxim Anatolyevich. Within the international round table “Bashkortostan and UNESCO — 15 years of cooperation: the educational environment of the republic for the benefit of a sustainable development” our task was to make information on activity of the UNESKO-UNEVOK Center in the Russian Federation which was open on the basis of our institute in 2012.

The speach of Tanzilia Altafovna, the head of the UNESKO-UNEVOK Center in the Russian Federation and the head of the UNESCO Resource scientific and educational center of the Republic of Bashkortostan, was listened with a great interest.

She noted that оne of generative components of this work could become:

  • formation of network interaction of the establishments of education entering the UNESKO-UNEVOK global networks for the purpose of concentration of their innovative potential and its direction on the solution of perspective educational tasks;
  • creation of the UNESKO-UNEVOK informational and educational portal with placement on it the electronic training resources in the European and national languages;
  • the organization of the Center of formation of applied qualifications on the basis of University.

There were a lot of questions, the most of them concerned concrete technologies of interaction with children’s and youth audience and work of Children’s civic legal chamber. Exhibited in the presentation hall our booklets “Memorial House-Museum S.T. Aksakov”, “Children’s Civic Legal Chamber”, “UNESCO-UNEVOC Centre in the Russian Federation on the basis of the Bashkir Institute of Social Technologies” went in the blink of an eye. Around our booth always were visitors who are interested in our activities in the mainstream of the UNESCO International movement and improving the quality of technical education.
