The UNESCO-UNEVOC Centre in the Russian Federation at the premises of the Bashkir Institute of Social Technologies together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Ministry of Education held the II Republican Competition among students of schools and students of colleges and universities in strategic management using a computer business game «Business Course: MAXIMUM».

The Competition was carried out through several stages. On April 8 and 10, a training seminar for the participants of the Competition was held: the children got acquainted with the business game, allowing in interactive form to gain skills for managing the company, which helps to expand the interest of young people towards economic knowledge, acquire practical skills of entrepreneurial activity.

On April 14 the final round of the Competition took place, in which 10 teams of schoolchildren, 6 teams of students of secondary vocational schools and 8 teams of higher education institutions of the Republic took part.

The challenge was fair, intense and very interesting. And most importantly – useful: it allows you to develop management skills, teaches competent organization of enterprise activity.

During February and March the UNESCO—UNEVOC Centre conducted training on “Gheka” game for everyone. Championship Qualifying stages were during March, 3248 people took part in them. The game is carried out not only in Ufa — active participants were Kumertau, Ishimbai, Salavat, Sibai, Sterlitamak, Neftekamsk, Dyurtyuli and Kuyurgazinsky District.  (more…)

Two significant events: a meeting of representatives of the executive power in the sphere of education of the Volga Federal District and Round table “Models of training and professional development of teachers for secondary vocational system education” took part in the framework of the Education Forum “Education. International scientific and practical conference “Housing as a factor of social citizens’ prosperity” within the framework of the UNESCO-UNEVOC Center took place on December 17, 2014, which brought together a wide range of participants — managers and employees of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic Bashkortostan, the Agency for Press and mass media of Bashkortostan, the Administration of Ufa city, Trade unions of Bashkortostan Federation, NPO “Center of public control in the sphere of housing and communal services of the Republic Bashkortostan”, management companies, and educational institutions.  (more…)

A roundtable on “Legal Education as a factor of youth civic engagement” took part on December 10, 2014 — the International Day of Human Rights — on the initiative of the Agency of Educational Technologies UNESCO-UNEVOC Center. The discussed issue was very relevant. Formation of a civic life position of young people and their wish to participate in public decision-making — is the key to national security. (more…)
